Default 997.2 GT3/RS weight savings

A recent discussion about dealer-spec cars led me to thinking about actual weight savings for various options on the 997.2 GT3 & RS, so I though this thread might provide a good summary of weight saved vs. added for various options. Please fill in, add, or correct the below per your information.

Factory Weight savings

-PCCB ($8,840) = 5kg per corner, 20kg/44lbs total saved
-Air-con delete ($0) = 15kg/33lbs saved
-Sport bucket seats ($2,990 option on GT3) = 14 kg/31lbs saved --> also see post2 #10 & #21 by JAMS for additional DIY seat options saving 14kg/30lbs & 23kg/51lbs respectively for GT2 and CGT sport seats (compared to standard sport buckets)
-Lithium-ion battery ($1,700)= 10.5kg/23lbs saved
-Lightweight halogen headlights w/o headlight washing system ($0) = 6kg/13lbs saved
-Audio system delete ($0) = 5kg/11lbs saved

Factoty Weight additions

+Factory roll cage ($0, Euro-spec only) = up to 30kg/65lbs added inc. harnesses
+Upgraded audio "sound package plus" ($690) = 7kg/15lbs? added above standard audio
+Front lift system ($3,490) = 3.5kg/8lbs kg added
+Interior leather ($3,285) = 3.5kg/8lbs added
+PCM w/ extended navigation ($3,110) = 2kg/5lbs? added
+Sport chrono ($690) = 1 kg/2lbs? added
+Grey or blue paint ($0) = ?kg added
+90-liter fuel tank ($?, Euro-spec only) = ? kg added
+North American spec glass rear window = ? kg added

Aftermarket Weight Savings

-Sharkwerks & Akrapovic exhaust options (from $1900 to wicked expensive) = up to 26kg/57lbs saved
-Centerlock wheel options --> still need accurate pricing & confirmed weight savings info, but here is some info as posted on manufacturer's websites and from other threads on Rennlist (list below in alphabetic order):
1. BBS 3 piece & monoblocks ($?) = ?kg/lbs saved
2. Forged Alloy ($?) = 2.7kg/6lbs? saved per front wheel, 3.6kg/8lbs? saved per rear wheel
3. Forgeline ($1,159 per wheel front, $1399 per wheel rear) = ?kg/lbs saved
4. GMG ($?) = 1.6kg3.5lbs saved per front wheel, 2.7kg/6lbs saved per rear wheel
-VoltPhreaks & other lightweight battery options (~$1300) = up to 6kg/13lbs saved from factory lightweight battery

Of course we also need to think about the relative placement of the item in question: front/rear/central, up high/down low in the chassis.

One more item -- Nizer confirmed in post #8 below that exhaust spec is the same across markets: titanium center muffler & exhaust tips with all other components steel.

Hope this is helpful, and thank for your answers!

Weight savings

PCCB ($8,840) = 5kg per corner, 20kg total saved
Air-con delete ($0) = 17kg saved
Lithium-ion battery ($1,700)= 11kg saved
Lightweight halogen headlights w/o headlight washing system ($0) = 6kg saved
Audio system delete ($0) = ? kg saved -- I suspect a fair amount given the weight of electronic components like speakers, wires, headunit

Weight additions

Front lift system ($3,490) = ? kg added
Interior leather ($3,285) = ? kg added
PCM w/ extended navigation ($3,110) = ? kg added
Sport chrono ($690) = ? kg added
Factory roll cage ($0, Euro-spec only) = ? kg added
90-liter fuel tank ($?, Euro-spec only) = ? kg added
North American spec glass rear window = ? kg added

Of course we also need to think about the relative placement of the item in question: front/rear/central, up high/down low in the chassis.

One more item: do we know that Euro-spec exhaust is full titanium and North American spec titanium + steel, or are both steel/titanium? If Euro spec is full titanium, then I will add the NA-spec exhaust to weight added above.

Hope this is helpful, and thank for your answers!
Front lift pump low in tunnel/low on shocks ~8lbs
PCM/NAV ~ 5 lbs

Sport Chrono?? Who would spec this in these cars? But prob 2 lbs?

Don't forget...full leather is +8lbs!

How about sports seats vs bucket seats? I am not sure these apply to US market, though.

I added Sport Chrono. Frankly, I like the timer. Agree that functionality is otherwise limited relative to the Sport Chrono I have in my 08 Turbo.

I am sure the high end audio system weights more then the crap default one. Speakers are the majority of the weight. Also Nav and the CDR-30 unit are probably very similar is weight I doubt the Nav unit weights any thing significantly more then CDR-30 unit.

This is for both correct? Do these numbers include rails? I would have thought CGTs might be lighter considering 6GT3 seats are 13-14lbs each without rails. Then again, they would make sense if they include the rails.

Those numbers would have to include rails/sliders, but I would have guess the shell seat (Carrera GT-like) would have been substantially lighter than the folding (GT2-like) seat.

What might you estimate both the stock and upgraded audio weigh? I am thinking
that the radio delete could save upwards of 10-15lbs, but am not sure.

Interesse an den Produkten unseres Hauses.

Nach Prüfung durch die
Fachabteilung möchten wir Ihnen mitteilen (after checking with the various in-house departments), dass wenn Sie Ihren Porsche
