Oops. Refrigerant discharge
100% user error.
I opened a charged can of r134a in my apartment. It discharged. I fled the apartment and opened the windows, but noticed it seems to be setting on the ground. Any clean up tips?

The link is to the R134A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The basics is that if the space is properly ventilated and you have basic PPE (personal protective equipment - glove to prevent direct exposure - kitchen ones should be fine) you are fine. Refrigerant is heavier than air, hence the danger of asphyxiation in an enclosed space.
Clean up the spilled refrigerant with soap and water (try simple green) and make sure you have a fan to dilute any off gassing of the 134A if you have a pool to clean up.
