Looks like he's got a set of Blizzaks on the TT rims. Little winter driving maybe?

they would make sense to put winter tyres on...... but that is all. The car is from northern Germany

Good eyes. I agree they look like snows and in that case, I guess TT rims are acceptable.

Although that TT wheel is not as nice as The RS Wheel,

but that TT wheel looks better on a GT3RS then on the 997TT.

for me at least.

For a set of snows, why not?

Conversely, I think the RS wheels would make a Turbo look great...I'll bet they become an option in the near future.

Jeff,
I have spent a lot of time in Germany. Most Germans have a second full set of winter rims and tires. This is probably what this RS owner did for winter driving.

Because they are (most likely) readily available as take-offs, and cheap since nobody seems to like them...and therefore perfect for beating up on salty, snowy roads (as pictured)?
