Tire pressures, 29/30 (book) or 29/33 (door)?
Hi,
The door jam does not match the manual. I've got 29/30 in the book, 29/33 on the door jam. I have the Corsas.
What are you using for the street?
Thanks.

You should go with 29/33. During testing of the 997 RS Porsche found that 29/33 improved performance vs. 29/30 which was originally subscribed for the GT3. Porsche then changed the recommended pressure for the GT3 also - hence the difference between book and door.

The latest update from the factory (according to Excellence Mag) is 29/34 cold. Best track hot is between 35/40 and 38/38 depending. But that was MPSC, not Corsas. Who knows. Get slicks.

'Get slicks'? thou jests.
The ABS has a defined 'envelope of performance'. If you put slicks on the car, the ABS will cut in before the the slicks have reached their limits of adhesion. This is why the racing ABS has been created.
A pilot can outbrake 99% of other drivers going into a corner, very few people actually use their car's full braking capacity, hardly surprising, it feels a bit violent. When testing brake systems, I even warn professional engineers that its going to get a bit uncomfortable, and make sure that their harness is tight. In fact, a tight shoulder harness is a good place to tuck a sick bag under, in case its needed in an emergency. Make sure itsd tucked under the shoulder closest to the driver, so you can get it out if your passenger forgets.
