A fella on 6 speed took delivery of his GR GT3.

I never thought to spec floormats with color matched piping. I think it look great, and was thinking of a set for my incoming car. But, as I understand it, these mats have leather edging and cost $500. That's a lot of jack for a wear item, but saw you can do a Lloyd mat with deviated piping for $100 ish dollars.

It would be nice to see the rear center console in either carbon with GR trim or the entire console in GR.

You know, it's pretty good in person. Of course the rim is not round, but the air-bag is huge. They needed to get the Lotus wheel -- that air-bag is bizarre it's so small. I imagine if it ever deployed, there'd be a little note from the designer saying "This coupon redeemable for one real air-bag just as soon as we get the sucker folded up and stuffed in this bloody small space."

Alcantara is a synthetic and it hardly looks like crap. If anything in that cabin looks like crap, it's all the plastic dash and door trim and the wobbly ***** on the console. Having had the car for three or four months now, that all just disappears from your thoughts -- nobody wanting a 911 today could reasonably say the cabin is any issue.
