Have you found a pair of Llyods with "Turbo"? Can't seem to find any in black with the real 997 Turbo script...

try this one. You can custom order any script that is listed(Porsche, Carrera, Carrera S or 4S, Targa, Turbo), color, etc. not bad for $129.95. But it's only for the 2 front tho.

I just got the Lloyd Mats from eBay last week, black with red Porsche stitching.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lloyd-Mats-U...pYeV7Y&vxp=mtr

The main reason I was upgrading was the factory mat on the driver side wasn't staying in place with the Velcro that secures it to the floor. The Lloyd Mats have a neat clip system that attaches to the seat rail and holds the mat right in place.

Very happy with them so far. My only gripe is it seems the heels of my shoes are already wearing into the carpet, so I wish I got something with a reinforced vinyl or something like that for where my heel rests when driving. Hopefully they hold up!

I have that same mat with the red lettering. The red lettering gets really dirty and I haven't determined a way to get it totally clean again. That is the only negative tho. Love Lloyds mats.

Not that it will help you, but maybe the next guy like Para - how about treating it with a carpet protector prior to instalaltion, like ScotchGuard or Forcefield Guardian? The other thing I use to clean my regular carpets and spots in the boat carpets is a Bissell Spot Bot - sprays a mix of carpet cleaning solution, automatically agitates and brushes it, then sucks out the solution. There's also a manual wand with a brush - works great.

The Lloyd mats seem to be very high quality but I have found that they're so thick that the rear mats get caught up by the front seats (when you move the seat to the rear) and distorted.

The pile is also very thick and as bscott mentioned, that deep pile shows where you rest your heels after only a few drives. My mats are gray, not black, so it's not as apparent on mine as on his. But still, it looks like two big cowlicks in the pile.

They feel good, though.

Keep you eyes open to specials with the favorites (for Rennlisters) like Sunset Porsche where I picked up an extra set of mats for something like $20! But I also really recommend Cocomats for your car. Today's Cocomatts are much more serious matts than they were in the 1970s--very thick, and with serious rubber backings. (You won't wear through them like we used to in the 1970s).

Im a big fan of contrasting colors for mats as it breaks up a sea of (XXX). On my white/Sand c4s, I went with Porsche Metropole(?) Blue mats. More of a slate blue than navy blue. Looks great, hides dirst and they were super cheap from Suncoast on sale. The Renline track mats are on the short list with a pedal upgrade.

Para - many thanks, your setup looks so clean and elegant.

How do you like the perforated pedals?

I love them so far, for such subtle changes they make a big difference for the interior.

I actually have a spare, brand new set of the black leather Inpelle ones I bought for my wife's 2005 997 C2S with Bose, but I think she wants to stay with regular carpet mats. Let me know if you're interested and I'll figure out a price.

I also have a set or two of brand new OEM Porsche stone grey ones if you're looking to break up the black interior a bit. Goes well with the other silver and volcano grey trim, especially with the adaptive seat backs. (RUF tags not included).

That carbon fibre sill trim goes a long way up - is that normal?
