Default Upgrade of interior bits to Alcantara, (steering wheel, shift ****/boot, arm res

In the coming weeks I plan to send some stuff off to Ledermanz and get them rewrapped in Alcantara. Steering wheel + add flat bottom, shifter **** & boot, e brake back, and arm rest.

It seems like I will be the first one on the 997 forum to dive into wrapping with Beige Alcantara. I do not have full leather option, and everything is pretty much sand beige. I debated on other colors, like black steering wheel and then adding black carpets + airbag, or gray which would just seem out of place in a sea of sand beige. My decision comes down to actually liking my white exterior and sand beige combo, and the fact that you never see anyone wrap in beige alcantara, you only see black and gray for the most part. I understand it may be more difficult upkeep, but this isn't my daily. I'm also extremely OCD with cleanliness of the interior.

After using the search thread function, I still cannot locate a DIY to remove steering wheel. Also cannot find DIY's to remove arm rest and e brake back. These last two seem like a very simple task, I just don't want to accidentally scratch up or destroy anything.

I have found a DIY to remove shifter **** and boot.

If you guys could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Thanks in advanced.

(Typo on title - arm rest*)

You could search for SSK install (short shift kit). It will tell you how to remove the center console etc.

When I do a kitchen renovation with my wife. I get a sample of the cabinet colour done up on a board. We cut it in half and sign each side. That is the control colour of our project. The kitchen place has a piece and we have a piece. No fights if the finished colour is off.
If you are sending off you car pieces to Ledermanz. Do you have a piece of "YOUR" fabric?
You should have a sample of your bolt of fabric.
5o shades of beige.

On another member's thread that I kind of jacked, I had a sample of sand beige interior/roof liner on a 997, I had an oem sand beige alcantara roof liner (not on car) picture that was found on ebay, and I had the alcantara sample from Ledermanz. I judged the color off those pics and asked the forum what they thought, but no one chimed in. I think it matches fairly well. The only beige alcantara in my car is the roofliner which is stock, so if it's not a 100% match, but really close, I'm thinking it has the potential to look amazing.

I'm open to hear opinions and I haven't gone thru with the process yet.

Here is the ebay ad of the 2009 997 sand beige alcantara headliner:

Thanks, I did that and found a DIY for removal of center console, that also included how to remove the arm rest.

Looks like I need to buy a Torx screwdriver set.
