Default Windshield washer not working

Wiper works but no water spray. Also no pump noise from frunk area. I checked behind battery compartment for loose hose connection. hoses are fine.

Is there a fuse just for windshield washer pump ?

Thx.

It looks like you have headlight washers in your user photo. Press the button on the bottom side of the wiper stalk to see if that works. I'm pretty sure it uses a different pump but shares the wiper fluid reservoir. The control signals come from the same front end module.

The headlight washer relay is a 25A fuse in holder B, fuse F4 (second row, 4th fuse?). It doesn't look like the windshield pump is connected to this fuse though.

The windshield pump has only two wires, power (Grey with Blue) and ground (Brown with Green). Put a multimeter on it and check their voltages when turned on.

Semicyler- Headlight washer works! just checked.

That means the windshield washer pump gone bad? Also where(location) can I access the pump wires to check with multimeter?

Thanks for your help.

I have the same issue:
  • Dash says fluid is empty, even though I just filled it up and have seen no leaks
  • Headlight washers make noise but no fluid
  • winshield sprayers make no noise and dont squirt

To top it off, the other day i accidentally pulled the squirt lever and got a burst of fluid...

Yours sounds more like a bad connection to the fluid level sensor, or the sensor itself is going. Check the connection and if everything looks good, perhaps replace the sensor. For a 2006 C2S the part number is 955.628.105.00. Check your actual part number based on model/year. The replacement procedure is here: http://workshop-manuals.com/porsche/...ir/procedures/

The windshield pump is #9 in this diagram. The sensor is #11. I think the headlight pump is behind the front bumper?

I am now experiencing this, first it was intermittent, now not working, no noise from the dash area. I checked the T connection, it's tight. Did anyone have follow up on this thread?
