FYI: Costco has their MotoFloor garage tiles on sale now!

Thanks for the tip!
Is $2/ft2 a good price for this material?
For current owners...how well does incidental water (melted snow, faucet drips, etc) drain out of the garage with this floor installed?

I have had these in my last three garages (I move around a lot to keep ahead of my ex's). As long as you have a slope to your garage floor they drain pretty well. But you will need to power wash them in the spring to remove accumulated residue and stains.

Received my motofloor ( boxes say racedeck ) tiles today from Costco and will try to lay them out this weekend if I have time. I'm going to do the alternating 1/sq ft placement like shown in the photo.
I'll post a DIY on this thread if anyone is interested?

Instructions say just lay then down on bare concrete.
As far as moisture getting under the tiles, they fit together extremely tight so I don't think any liquid is going to seep down between them.

Yea that small box on top in the below pic is the edge finishing kit.
After measuring it looks like I am only going to need to cut one side only to fit it in.
I figured I would need to cut length and width.
One thing I noticed just from that small snapped together piece in the below pic is that when you walk over it it sounds kind of hollow and a tapping noise as the tiles make full solid contact with the concrete. Did yours do this when you first placed them? I'm assuming they will lay fully flat after a few heat cycles and become quieter.

Yes and no. Yes mine made the noise you describe and no it did not go away. If it bugs you enough, I think the only thing you could do would be some sort of padded under layment.

But you will still get some of the plastic sound. To confirm this, throw some tiles on your carpet or a welcome mat. Personally it didnt bug me.

i'm interested in seeing how this looks and how you go about fitting it in. How do you end it by the garage door? Some sort of edge piece?
Been thinking of doing this in my garage. Debating between epoxy flooring or tiles....
