Default Racing Stripes or Not???

Thanks to my buddy and fellow Rennlister EMC2, I have the bug to add some Porsche decals to my Arctic Silver 2009 C2S. I am not looking to add the side stripe decals with the Porsche logo, I am interested in adding the 911 Sport Classic Style Racing Stripes, perhaps in a matte gray or black. Right now I am on the fence regarding wanting to do this or not. Looking for input from other 997 owners. What do you think?

For me? Like, but couldn't handle the wax and buffing around the sticker.
The stone guard is enough of a problem...

Yes. God knows we have enough cars that look identical out on the road. Be different, be yourself and be original.

I have the same ones for my 996 in Arctic Silver - haven't installed them just yet though.

I think with Aero it looks great, but I like the skinny stripes that end at the Porsche Crest. Something like these (yes I know they are both much more car than C2S, and one is a 991)

Why not? If you like them go for it. I wouldn't worry too much about it - it's your car, if they add to the cool factor for you do it!

If you decide you don't want them anymore you can always take them off.

I think it would look great - especially in gray.

Gray or black are just too boring. If you are going to stripe it, go big color.
