Default Side Decals Installed - Matt Black on Black 997.2

Recently installed side decals from http://carreradecals.com
I ordered these specific ones:
http://carreradecals.com/collections...pe-vinyl-decal
911 Classic Porsche Triple Stripe Vinyl Decal. 3.5 Inch × 2

No affiliation; very good quality product, and very happy with the results.

I ordered matt black, which is very subtle and almost invisible under certain lighting conditions, but has a great effect when the light hits it right.

I installed them over new OEM clear stone guards, that I put on several weeks ago.

I like them - subtle, but pick up some interesting reflective light. Nice work!

+1. A friend did the same thing on his black Cayman. Luv the subtle effect!

(Don't know if his source is the same but the decal is also matte black on black paint)

Well done, looks great! Perfect color on black.

I need to replace my stone guards and I am thinking to do it myself. Do you mind sharing your technique?

Thank you in advance.

Very nice! Car looks excellent! I've been thinking of doing something similar recently.
On a side note...what is that front spoiler you're sporting there? It looks very nice as well!

This looks good but please don't fall down the mod rabbit hole on this one. Your car is super clean. Of course do what you wish. I think you've got a great taste seeing your other cars and garage.

ocmacman - if you go this route, please post pictures. I also have midnight blue and am trying to decide which color route to go. I was thinking about two colors - dark and light grey. I want something subtle - EMC2's matte black might also work

I've seen this in person on a Spyder and it looked awesome. It looks ghosted on, very modern version of a classic decal.
