HELP: CEL after battery change

HELP: CEL after battery change
I opted to change my battery due to occurences of emergency transmission error and PASM error where my 997 GTS goes to limp mode. For the past months i hardly used my GTS but kept it with CTEK battery tender.
Unfortunately, when i changed the battery from oem to Interstate. A new issue along with the Emergency Transmission Error in white text occured - Check Engine Light.
I used my Torque Pro to check the errors and these are what i found:
Fault log report generated by Torque for Android
=================================================
Vehicle VIN: Not present
Vehicle Manufacturer: Unknown
Vehicle Calibration ID: Not present
Current Fault Log
------------------
P0354: Ignition Coil "D" Primary/Secondary Circuit
P2311: Ignition Coil D Secondary Circuit
Pending Fault Log
------------------
P0304: Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
Historic Fault Log
------------------
ECU reports no historic faults
Other discovered fault codes
(possibly pending, current or manufacturer specific)
----------------------------------------------------
End of report.
Troubleshooting done:
1. Disconnected the battery - still the same errors.
2. Torque pro was unable to clear the misfire.
3. No flashing CEL although it flashed twice when i drove the car thinking it will clear itself. But after restart constant CEL again and not the dreaded flashing CEL.
I read from the forum, sometimes misfire will not trigger CEL. Is it possible that the misfire has been causing the Emergency Transmission Error? Lastly, my last resort is to bring my GTS to Porsche Fremont. It will be my first time to have my GTS flat beded, should i go with AAA to bring the car for service?
Thanks!

Three Wheelin'
Well it could be three things in order of severity..
1. Most likely - this is a common occurrence when changing out the battery, it happened to me as well. Just drive it for 10 minutes and it clears itself.
2. Blown fuse - has been reported by some while exchanging the battery. Check the PSM fuse.
3. It's related to you trans error - not likely. However if the above does not remedy the CEL then the car has to go to the dealer.
Good luck! I remember when this happened to me and a had a minor biscuit flip only to be guided by this forum.

Thanks for the reply!
1. Yes i did drove the car couple of times and only stopwhen the Emergency Transmission Error appears. About 7 out of 10 times i drove the car in different occasions that i had the emergency trans error along with the CEL.
2. Thanks ill check the PSM fuse hopefully thats the culprit.
thanks again for the reply! Im very grateful with our community for being a big help from looking the right porsche to maintaining it.

When you reconnected the battery and then started the car, did you get a "PSM Failure" message that then went away after you drove it the first time? That's a normal message anytime you disconnect and reconnect the battery so if you didn't get that, then the PSM fuse is probably part of the issue. Does the light on the PSM button go on and off when you press it or is nothing happening with PSM at all.

Petza914,
Thanks for the reply. yes the PSM failure went away after it was driven.
times i miss an engine in front for easier access or for the least traditional lug nuts so it will be easier to remove the rear tires and check the coils and plugs underneath

UPDATE:
I was able to clear the CEL by scanning and clearing @ ACC key position instead of having the car started. Since I was in a hurry, I was just able to drive the car for 5min. I'll try to drive it more tomorrow.
Also, I noticed the idle drop after few minutes from cold start disappeared.
