Bose HUR and adding an external amp?
Hi Everyone,
So, i've read what seems like every thread on this topic. I've decided that I want to upgrade my audio system in my 997. So, I bought a new pioneer 8100-NEX head unit and I don't want to deal with wiring an entirely new system, so I bought the MOST hur adapter so that I can use the bose speakers and amp with the new head unit. My question is whether or not, I can take a radio out and also connect the new head unit to a 2nd amp that I would use to power a more power hungry sub to replace the bose oem sub. I'm not sure if connecting the hur adapter eliminates my ability to tap into the remote lead coming off of the head unit.
Greatly appreciate anyones input that had dealt with this situation.
Thank you,
James
