Default cone left scuff on rear quarter panel

So nailed an autocross cone on the rear quarter panel rock chip protector ahead of rear wheel. Left a scuff mark that I tried to remove with some rubbing compound but didn't really work.
Since it isn't really painted metal there i am guessing that is why it did not work.
Anyone have a suggestion for how to remove the mark?

Thanks!!!

Clay bar? Maybe some Goof-Off?

You need a porter cable and try to buff it out, I had the same cone scuff on my previous car and it was a pain to buff out.

Sounds like you scared your 3M stone guard.
You can try, clay bar or a solvent.
I'd try a little more elbow grease with the compound.
If your trying to take the colour out of the 3M film? It's soft, you may need to get a little more aggressive. If your nervous, get a professional. If you screw it up. I was not on this forum, today.
To me that is a manly mark. War wound. Patina. Good for you.
10 year old car. 3300 miles. That's sad.

If all above don't work, they are easily replaced. Sunset Porsche.
