Default Kids car seats

Just heard we have two grandkids for the night and my wife promised them a ride home tomorrow in the 911. They (twins) are 6 years old. I've avoided kids in the car until now ...

There has been mention on this Forum of a booster seat from Target. I've ignored this ... I generally do not shop, but there is a Target on the way home. Would these be a stock item? Will they work for 6 year old?

Thanks for whatever help anybody has!

Bought this one at Walmart. It's a tight fit but it works fine.

Yup, we bought a pair of the same seats on vacation in Maui for $13 about four years ago. Still our go to seat for field trips, vacations, and baby sitters for the younger one.

Amazon.com : Cosco Juvenile Top Side Booster Car Seat, Turquoise : Baby Amazon.com : Cosco Juvenile Top Side Booster Car Seat, Turquoise : Baby

This is also available at Target. I purchased a black one for $13. It fits nicely and does the job. 6yr old is a great age.

Dug back three rows to get away from pink and flame options and found the last two in black!

They look great. Tomorrow morning is the test. Thanks everyone for the replies.

My 5yo fits without a booster.

Feet go to the floor and the shoulder belt doesn't hit his face.

Works great. Thanks all. Kids are 44"and the shoulder belt is just right and they can see out the windows.

Happy to report that the kids like the turns better than the straights (regardless of throttle or brake)! That makes my day.

On the other hand, I parked 20 cars out of the masses, no cars beyond me, no reason for anyone to walk to my car ... Walmart in Rohnert Park. Came out to a keyed front left fender. It was night and there were only a few lights.

But the kids liked the turns best!

Same here. All I saw at first were the flame ones. Then behind those were two rows of the pink ones, and the black ones were buried in the back. My wife actually found it back there.

Been thinking of getting this one.. but wondering if it would be ideal / safe to remove the car's back rest before putting this seat in? Just so that my son can sit a bit further back from the front seat. Every inch counts for such a small space.

I would say to remove the rear seat back completely, does give a little extra room. I went from this original Porsche seat to a completely re-trimmed leather one. Sorry about the pics, they were taken in the garage this evening with my phone.
