Touch Up Paint for Curb Rash on OEM Wheel
Got some curb rash while parallel parking today, almost brought a tear to my eye. It's only a minor spot, but it's 2 deep nicks.
I was planning to sand it, apply some Bondo, and cover it with some touch-up paint, since the surface area is not large. Does anyone know the touch up paint color for stock OEM Carrera Classic 19" wheels? I definitely do not wish to refinish and repaint the entire wheel.
Thanks in advance!

Here's a kit http://www.autogeek.net/german-wheel...epair-kit.html. You propbably only need the primer, paint and clearcoat.
I have used the Wurth. It's a match to the original silver.

I think the Wurth will only match if you spray it on. I tried spraying it into a container and applied with a brush and the color didn't match at all.

You can try ColorScratch.com for a can. I think the wheels are a GT Silver formulation. Someone else step in. I've forgotten more than I recall now.

Use the wurth silber and the wurth clear coat. Leave the tire on the rim. Use playing cards to stick in the crack between the tire and rim, and then blue tape to mask.
It will work perfectly.

My used winter lobster were pre-curbed. Thus I had no tears in my lap. Though I do feel your pain.
Do keep an eye out for a classic wheel set. Sometimes they come up as singles or broken sets. A repair/paint will cost you 100-200 bucks depending on where you get it done.

I called Dr. Colorchip, the owner has a Porsche as well. He made up some Porsche silver wheel touchup that matched perfectly. I didn't do the typical Colorchip routine with it, just cleaned the scrape and applied the color with an artist brush. Although DIY, you have to look to find the damage now.
