Did you ship the buckets to to Ohio by chance?

No, I met Alan half way to Ohio and we swapped seats in a parking lot somewhere.

Well, wherever you met, looks like I have your original seats. Just curious....how long did the swap in the parking lot take and did your car have the harness for the power functions on the adaptive seats or was that a separate job?

<<<@!1!@>>>

The swap took only 30 minutes, extremely easy swap, only 4 bolts per seat plus the seatbelt and the wiring harnesses were plug and play. Not sure if you got my seats or a previous set Alan had, he has a lot of experience with these swaps. I posted a youtube video of my seats when they were for sale briefly. If there is a small nick on the passenger seat bolster of your seats then you indeed have the same seats. By the way, I love the paddle steering wheel you sold me!

It's aqua blue metallic. The sun is hitting it at an odd angle in that photo.

Adding one more car to the mix. I just found it today. I think this will make it more interesting:

2008 White C2S - $56,000
- 12,900 miles
- manual
- black adaptive sport leather seats, with seat back in aluminum look
- tire pressure monitoring system
- xenon lights
- electric slide / tilt sunroof- PASM
- heated front seats
- sport chrono package plus
- 19" OEM carrera "s" wheels in black
- sports exhaust upgrade

I may be able to get a CPO but this car is a .1. I'm originally looking for a .2. But the mileage and manual tranny is tempting.

Yeah ... 4S. Love the hips, and short of tracking, why not take the higher amount of tractability on the street?

Don't buy 2008 car, it's 997.1 model vs 99 7.2 for 2009. C4S is the car to buy. The added safety due to 4wd is worth it even in CA. Have you seen new cars from other brands, most are moving to 4 wd.

Ok, thank you so much guys for your input! It makes my 911 hunting easier. Although now the dealership is asking for $62K for the C4S

That extreme low mileage only scares me away personally. That's a gamble.

I would happily pay 62k for a mint 997.2 C4S.

In fact the C4S is the main candidate for my next car purchase either that or the new F-Type Coupe V6 in BRG.

No nick so I must have gotten a different set from his bucket seat collection. Yes, that steering wheel is a winner. Actually liked it better than the one I have now. Same thickness but for some reason yours felt more substantial.

That's what I got recently for the same car with 34K miles. Private sale. It did have a Tubi exhaust, HRE wheels and extended warranty for another 3 years though.

So I received more photos of the C4S showing all the small scratches and chips from normal wear and tear (a nice gesture from the dealer). They're not bad, can be fixed with touch-ups. There's also a small wear on the driver's seat but they are going to re-dye it to make it look brand new. Anyway, they wont budge with $62K.

The problem is, I got distracted with another listing. It's a 2009 2S with 16,000 miles. Same color with grey interior, same options except for Turbo wheels, adaptive heated seats, and the addition of heated steering wheel and dynamic cornering light. I don't care much about the extra options but the low mileage is very appealing. Asking price is $63K with Audi's 3-year/36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty (no CPO). They are an Audi/Porsche dealership.

The question is, will you pay more for a low mileage 2S with Audi's 3-yr warranty or the higher mileage 4S with CPO is still the better deal? Or is it at $62K?

Sorry guys, I'm about ready to pull the trigger. Just need your quick opinion from my above post. And would also like your opinion on the Audi's bumper-to-bumper warranty. Thanks.
