Default Replacing carbon center console with Maritime Blue

As some of you will know the carbon that Porsche uses in these cars becomes brittle after a while. Yes my car spends most of it's time in the garage but still I've had a steering wheel replaced, the carbon cupholder has seperated and now finally the center console has delaminated. The wheel was replaced under warranty, the cupholder is a relatively easy fix and with the center console I've decided it's time to introduce some Maritime to the interior. Painted center console was one of my favorite features in my 2000 Boxster S.

Thanks to Eric at Bumper Plugs, it gets installed Friday.

I think blue console is better than carbon.

As long as you don't care about resale. Hey, you own it. Enjoy it!

Looks really good. Where did the carbon fiber center console start delaminating?

awesome - i am deciding what color to do mine. car is basalt black.

i was considering doing an accent theme for a roll cage, center console and brakes.

yellow on black looks good but its not my favorite, i was actually thinking of doing a mexico blue or gt3rs green.

For your interior that was the right thing to do. Sadly, Porsche's history with their carbon fiber supplier is poor so moving to something other than 'carbon fiber' is a much better solution. For your dark interior that splash of blue looks great!
