Default Y Connector for iphone 5

Is there a new Y connector for the iPhone 5 so I don't have to buy the Lightning adapter?

Thanks

Gary

What do the current cars come with that have an iPod port option?

It's not on their website so I doubt it but call Suncoast to confirm.

There is a new Y plug for cpm 3.0, but still need the lightening adapter. At least the iPhone will play and charge with the new Y adapter

So the currently new cars are only compatible with outdated, and used older model iPhone/iPod? This seems to be a problem.

The Y adapter with the lighting works great on an iPhone 5.

Pretty sure the 991 offers the ability to stream via Bluetooth (AD2P).

I still believe that the Tune2Air WMA1000 is the way to go
Do a search, there are a few threads about it, here and on 6Speedonline

Ah, yes. .of course. So the newer cars just offer bluetooth streaming (AD2P), thus offering an audio interface for 'all phones' and any accessory inputs, if they still have that option, only need to have USB and AUX inputs.

Certainly what Porsche should have done from the get go and doing it now is the right thing - getting away from proprietary licensed interconnects.

It does seem like, given the generally bad location for easy access, that you would either:

1) Install a dedicated iPod mini in 30pin or lighthing with adapter
or
2) Install a 30pin-to-AD2P end-point to add the streaming from your phone.
