Default 14mm Spacers in Front on lowered 997.2

My cars is a 997.2 C4S with OEM Porsche Carrera S II wheels with a front ET 57.

Some weeks ago I installed H&R spacers: 7mm front and 15mm rear. The wheels were pushed out nicely and they seemed to be flushed with the fenders.

This past week the car was lowered with H&R springs, and while the stance of the car is now largely improved, the front wheels don't look flushed anymore.

In an attempt to push the front wheels out further, I am thinking about using 14mm or 15mm spacers for the front. Since the car has been lowered, will the front wheels rub the fenders? Any other issue to worry about?

Your personal experiences will be greatly appreciated, TIA

My car is lowered with H&R springs. At the front I have 8.5" wide rims ET 45, so equivalent of you running a 12 mm spacer. I am running 245/35R19 tires, so slightly wider than normal. I get a slight rubbing on the wheel well liner very occasionally, and only when at full lock and on an uneven surface. Never an issue for 99.9% of the time

Be careful with large spacers, they stress wheel bearings.

Hi, I have 15mm spacers up front, 18mm rear. Same size/offsets.. (I think) 997.1 c2s
H$r springs.
Check my posts, I have pics up too. Honestly if I could do it again, I'd go 20mm rear 18mm front. Lots of room to play. It's time to get away from the 7mm/15mm setup. IMO. Nate

Edit...
Just noticed you are c4s...

But I suppose it still applies to the front.

Nate.

Could you not try your rear spacer on the front?
I'm assuming when you had your car lowered, was it was also aligned?
Do you now have increased camber? That would visually make your rim look less flush at the top?

you know, I'm with you on this one Nate....

everyone talks about the 7/15 setup being the one to go with. I ordered 8/18mm because that's what ECS had in stock and I could have gone bigger in the front for sure. Still looks good but if I could go back I would have gone 15 in the front.

Thanks Nate. Are your front wheels rubbing at all? Under what circumstances?

Big:
The car was lowered and aligned and I think the camber was increased. Your theory is sound, but my guess is that before the car was lowered the wheel looked flushed because the wheel and the fender were not so close because of the OEM suspension gap. Once the car was lowered, the lack of flushness was obvious.
The plan is to try the rear spacers in the front, but since I have to do this at a shop, I want to be certain that the experiment has a shot

Impressive graphic Monk. I am looking for "flush"

Hi John. This is exactly what I want to do. My only worry is that my car has been lowered. I am pretty sure that with the OEM suspension there would be no rubbing at all

Here are some pictures. Please pardon the rookie "finger in the lens" move (I don't know why the pictures are sideways):

Bring this post alive,. Did anyone find the best spacer for a lowered c4s? I am lowered on eibach spring. Looking to get a set of spacer for the stock wheels. Wheels are currently off as I use them for winter. Any info would be appreciated.

I've used 15mm RSS aluminum spacers on my C2 lowered on eibach before. Pricey but highly recommended.

I have H&R springs and 15mm spacers all the way around. I dont have any rubbing issues.
