For the street? Leave it stock
For the track? It's going to be expensive to improve upon the 9A1 X51 engine. This is the engine that powers the Rolex Grand Am GS Porsche's and BGB Motorsports won the Championship with it last year.
You could spend $8k on a full FVD (M&M) free flow race exhaust and tune. You could also spend $10-15k on the suspension. Start to take out the rubber in the suspension with GT3 lower control arms, mono *****, solid dog bone and toe links, adjustable coilovers, solid engine mounts. Spend another $5k on bigger GT3 brakes for better on track stopping and cooling.
Or
Sell the GTS and put the money down on the GT3RS or Turbo...your preference and use depending.

Easy peasy.....
Add Sharworks center muffler bypass, disconnect the PSE connector in the engine compartment so PSE is on all the time, enjoy your ride!
