Default Charge-o-Mat II Instructions

Does anyone know where I can get instructions for this Porsche battery maintainer? I bought mine used, and it didn't come with any.

Also, I've read conflicting posts on whether this must be plugged into the cigarette lighter only, or whether it can be plugged into one of the accessory ports (like the one in the cubby or footwell). I think my cigarette lighter port turns off when the car is off, so it doesn't look like that will work.

As always, thanks in advance!

Try a search for "CTEK 3300". It is the same or very similar to the Charge-o-Mat II.

I don't have the manual, but it is not that complicated at all. Plug it in and leave on until fully charged (the LED's will tell you). In fact can be left plugged in even after the battery fully charged.

Either port is fine for charging. Makes no difference. I do it every two weeks in winter, my car doesn't mind which port I use.

I like the cigarette location for two reasons:
1. It has the BIG fuse.
2. It annoys me when I get in, so I'll never drive off with it plugged in by mistake.
