I'm curious if there is anyone out there in Columbus that has done the Gundo hack to their 997.1 S. I'm thinking about it but due to come concerns, would want to hear it live and compare it to my stock exhaust. I know there are tons of "before and afters" but it's hard to hear what the true differences are.

Just picked up my mufflers from a local welding shop, $175, and installed them this afternoon. Easy one person process but must remove tires and use jackstands. I also have Sharkwerks center bypass pipe that alone did not produce the sound character I wanted. My 2 hour experience is very positive. Very quiet after warm up and only noticeable with significant throttle tip in, then very different sound. It now sounds much throatier and less docile. Beautiful welds, very clean, neat and tidy. I'm pleased and for less than PSE and doesn't disturb the neighbors unless you exercise the throttle aggressively.
