Default Brey Krause Harness Bar for 996/997 Coupe

I have a like-new Brey Krause Harness Bar (Model R-1030) which will fit the 996/997 coupe without Bose. (My 997 has the Bose system so I need a new bar). Bar is complete with all mounting hardware and instructions. Pics show the bar installed in my '99 996.
Price new: $650
For sale at: $325 (shipping extra)
PM me if interested.

Mike, I'm interested in this, can you give me an estimate on shipping to Houston, Texas, 77008. Also I have a 996 Targa, I can't see anything online that says it won't fit, do you know of anything ?

Cheers

Mavthenav, I sent you a PM--I'm in Dallas and have the same harness bar. PM me if interested. It will fit in a Targa--the only thing I don't know if you will be able to retract the roof with the bar in. The good news is you can leave the back section (which mounts to the top of the strut towers) in, and remove the rest by pulling four bolts. I left mine in all the time, because it was in a 01 Turbo with GT3 seats, so the rear seats where largely worthless anyway for passengers.

Well, looks like Paul S. piggybacked on my ad. If his bar doesn't work out for you let me know. I'll sell mine for $200 + shipping.

Very un-Rennlist like behavior... to say the least don't ya think.

Not to mention that you need to be a member to post items for sale.

Mike, you may want to cross post to the member to member classifieds. You might have more response to your ad or at worst... increases your exposure.

Not a problem... I would've been a prospect for buying your harness bar, except I too have the bose system. GLWS

Cab&Coupe, I've taken a look at my targa and none of the speakers have Bose on them, so I'm guessing I don't have the Bose system, do you have a picture your rear shelf so i can see what it looks like with the Bose system.

thanks

mavthenav, here's a picture of the Bose speaker enclosure in my current car. I've already installed the bar that works with that setup. You can see the difference if you compare it to the pics of my old car and the harness bar you're interested in, in the original post. If you don't have this enclosure the bar should work fine.

Mavthenav, I sent you a Private Message yesterday with info on shipping options and other details. If you didn't get it, post a reply here or send me a private message and I can send it again. At this point I have no information about where to "send a bill". Contact me and we can work this out off line.
