The guide says that the "Rod", is only for better AM reception.

It is option 461 - Rod Antenna - Mounted on roof above rear window to improve AM reception.

I really like some of those wheels. The 18" carrera II wheels would look great on my 993...

Interesting that the optional wheels are basically all 19s. I have a Cayenne S with 19s, and the tire selection is very limited (no R compound tires at all).

Why would you want R-compounds for the Cayenne?

Thanks, as usual, for the great info. Glad to see Porsche is going to offer some 19" alternatives to that odd-looking '403' wheel.
