So I think this spring will be the time to put my 2002 up for sale. I'm just getting involved with too many other other projects. My take is asking price of $51K. Might remove the exterior carbon parts and sell separately.

It should sell very quickly at $51k.

I personally think with the low milage and detailed service history you could ask $55k and get it, maybe more.

Just sold a Silver on Black '01 TT, with 22k miles, clean Carfax, really nice car, but only few options for $48,000. Started the car at $57,000 and just kept dropping the price.. Hopefully you will have much better luck. It surely is a beautiful machine you got.

Based on prices I've been seeing, there's been a bump this year that has affected some of our cars positively. Part of it no doubt is the traditional 'price goes up when the temperature goes up' bump. I agree with pricing in the mid-$50s.

I paid $48k for a 2001 TT with 40k miles and retrofitted X50, a month ago. Apparently there were plenty of people willing to pay close to that, even sight-unseen, so you should have plenty of interest.

I'd pay more for an '02 over an '01 all else being equal. Seems prices are going up, rightly so, the mezger motor cars will continue to appreciate, and the 996 TT has been the real bargain for too long.

Thanks all, appreciate the feedback. Maybe I'll start the price slightly higher, but I don't want to price myself out of the market. Not in a mad rush to sell.

I think I'm going to remove the console riser kit and put the stock center console (with two storage trays) back in place before listing for sale. Any other actions around non-stock items that would be worthwhile to reverse? I'm already going to pull the carbon fiber wing and front spoiler lip.

I would say ~55-57 is a good place to start. Nice car btw.
