Finally found my 996tt!
I am the proud owner of a 2001 black on black 996 turbo, I ended up buying it from a customer of Cantrell motorsports in bellevue through their website. The car seems to have been well taken care for, and it's had some pretty tasteful mods such as a europipe exhaust, rs clutch, lwfw, and shortv shift kit. It also has a umw flash. I had the PPI performed by cantrells and they assured me everything looked great. The read the overrev report and said that these readings were no big deal. What do you guys think?is this alot?

Congrats!
I've only had mine for 10 days now, and I think I might have added an over-rev already...
In my defense, I had no idea the tach needle would move that fast!

It might raise the rev limiter a few hundred RPM. Nothing to worry about. These motors can be revved out every time you drive them without issue.

Yes, and hundreds of posts here will vouch for the safety of Kevin's UMW tunes. You may find she's still at the stock rev limit anyway as that low number of Type 2 ignitions works out to only a total of about 5 seconds across her 870 some hours of usage if my math is correct. That number is how many times a spark plug has fired while her revs were above the type 2 rev limit, not how many times she's been taken past that limit. Just looks like she's had the usual occasional slightly early downshift to me. And no type 3s recorded, so you don't need to worry she may have had a moneyshift sometime. Great car - enjoy her.

what is the total operating hours on the car (cut off in pic)?
that will show you how long ago the overrevs occurred. I agree the number of type 2s is low.
congrats and enjoy the new car and pics please.
