M3,
The 99s have been seen as low as 29K and the average about 32-34. Really depends on the area and what is available. The GPS was an option as well as the phone, however I don't think many had them, You can purchase a good aftermarket GPS and have it installed. Alpine, Kenwood etc are all good choices.

There are so many places and styles to chose from. TechArt is a favorite on body panels with me. Wheels, are certainly a matter of preference with size, weight and style. For handling unless you are wanting the car for aggressive track the PSS9s are great. Performance can be handled with ECU tuning, exhaust work and a few other bits. There are turbo kits we build, but I would talk to you long and hard before proceeding.
Don't worry about the questions, this is what we are here for. Also FWIW I am a tuner and engine builder..So now you know 2 tuners

the best mod on 996 is to take it to the track and figure out how to drive it.

Wow high 20's to low 30's for a 996?? Things sure have changed in the last 8 months. Back in march when I was shopping for them you were lucky to find a nice example of a 996 in the high 40's / low 50's.

I would say the market is a bit saturated and unstable. Unnaturally driving prices down. Who wants to finance a used car when the incentives for the new ones are better, hence a lower payment...Killing our resale value.
