Speedtech Exhaust for 996 Turbo
Which exhaust should I choose to get the best sound for my Porsche 996 Turbo:
3.0 "Loud" X-cellerator Exhaust System
Or
3.0" Competition" X-Pipe Exhaust System
and are confused whether I should choose race catless version.
requires the installation adjustment og the engine.

If you want a 3" system, get the 3.0 X-Pipe. The sound is fantastic. I strongly prefer it to the 3.0 X-cellerator. In 2.5 trim, both are great, but in 3", IMO, it's the XP all the way.

I like the catted sound better. They tone it down vs. catless and I prefer the tone, as well. Our 100 cell cats flow so well, you can feel any difference. Catless is very loud.

I have the 3" competition, without cats, and think it sounds incredible!
Depends on how much you drive it. It doesn't drone much at all, but it is loud when you stand on it.

Have the 3" X-Pipe with cats, sounds great as well as does not have a ton of drone.
