Default INSANE CLUTCH DEAL!

If you missed the thread I started regarding clutch advice I wanted fellow Rennlisters to be aware of this deal.

EBS Racing is selling either the Sachs OEM Turbo or GT2 clutch kit K703284 - 01 and 02 for $550.00 plus shipping.

I ordered my GT2 kit Monday and received it today at noon - 2.5 days Reno to
NC - great service from EBS!

Kit is exactly as advertised.

Here's what Jon at EBS posted on my previous thread after I let the word out:

"Yes, we are selling the clutch kit for $550.00! All original SACHS parts. This is an unadvertised overstock special, call or email to place order. Cannot order online. We are limiting these to our friends on Rennlist and 6spd. Call 800 462 3774 or email me jon@ebsracing.com. We also have other SACHS clutch kits available, contact me for a complete list.
Thanks
Jon"

Don't know what other kits he has for what cars, but I wanted all fellow 6tteer's to get first dibs!

That's awesome! Can you post up a couple pics (if you have time) of what all came in the kit for 550.00? I wanted to ask before it's too late and you have it all installed. 😊

I will try to post some photos, but you get pressure plate, disc, throwout bearing and various rings, alignment tool (OEM clutch only, GT2 doesn't come with one -go figure). All you need to order in addition
is the nine new mounting bolts.

Here's some photos of the components. Fortunately the dmfw was OK -dodged a bullet.

^ the only difference in the oem sachs clutch kit for 96gt2 and the turbo is the sprung vs unsprung disc. all else is the same. so this kit is suitable and oem for any 996 turbo'd variant. stock, or one that is "mid level" modded.
