Thing about the 997 Turbo is that it is much rarer then the 996 Turbo due to the Economic Recession.
I think for this reason that the 997 Turbo is great value now to buy at. Is that it has a lot more potential to go up in value vs a 996 Turbo.

The 996 is a better buy considering it's easily modded to the same performance level for hp or if not better in some areas like weight and track and suspension upgrades and if you want a more raw car that does not feel like an awd car. It also doesn't have pressed on cam sleeves and plastic coolant pipe elbow connections. I expect the 996 turbo to maintain the same value later on while I think the 997tt will go up.
