Yep, saw this one.

Car is modified strange. Typically, the progression of mods go exhaust, tune, etc. with turbos being one of the last ones before going into a motor build. Research shows that the car had oil pressure problems and the turbo ended up breaking and clogging oil lines. Supposedly no other damage was done but something I'm not going to risk.

Price is high for the mileage/mods too.

Still searching

What exactly are you looking for? Plenty of cars here have been EXACTLY what you seem to have wanted yet you find a reason to say no. Don't wait forever.

If there was a car that has something exactly what I'm looking for, then I would have bought it by now. I know the car I am looking for is not going to be found to a perfect T, but if there is one that I can find which takes car of 80-90% of the wants, then I can finish the rest myself. Cars of this kind are falling in the $47-$55k range with the higher end of the range being a full bolt on car prior to breaking into doing motor work.

Ideally what I'm looking for:
Car: 2002-2005 911 Turbo (2001 is fine, but preference is later years)
Mileage: 30-50,000 range
Exterior: Black
Interior: Black with Carbon Fiber

Performance Mods
Billet Turbos (K16 or K24)
Exhaust
Tune (with Cobb AccessPort)
Injectors
Intercoolers
Clutch
Plenum & Throttle Body
Diverter Vaves
Short Shifter
Coolant Pipes Pinned
Coilovers (Billstein)
Big Brake Kit (Stoptech/Brembo)
Wheels (HRE)

Appearance
GT2 Front Bumper
Misha GT2 Add-On Spoiler

OP may be testing the waters... sooner or later, OP will give in to the Porsche bug

If OP has no time constraint he can simply review the market until his/her ideal setup comes along at a screaming deal. I think most of us in this forum are car guys, enthusiasts, maybe some collectors, or straight up gear heads. I'm sure it's hard for many of us to approach our vehicles dispassionately, but that's what you have to do to get the exact thing you want.

On the other hand, OP may run out of time if the uptick is actually happening as discussed elsewhere. Meanwhile, I'll be in the mountains carving up some asphalt.

I just sold my beautiful Viper (I'm going to regret it I think). My garage is nearly empty now.

Bump to find my next car!

Congrats on the sale... Vipers are very undervalued right now IMO. Here's to you finding a car quick before the regret can sink in

You may miss it occassionally but I doubt you'll regret it.
The turbo is way more user friendly on a regular basis and it sounds like you're looking for one to drive.

This thread was started in November. OP has demonstrated impressive restraint thus far; I predict he'll last till spring.
