standard equipment front bumperettes... my car is also an 01 and sticker shows front bumperette delete as a no cost option. i think most buyers selected that option...

the early build '01's had the bumperettes. Once it became a delete option, almost everyone checked that box to get rid of them.

IIRC, it isn't that big of a job to remove them, but more than just unbolting them.

I looked at this car when it first came it while they were in the process of detailing it. It had a major, deep scratch/mark right in the center of the hood. Not sure if they fixed it or what as it doesn't really show up in the pictures. Also, the interior had a bunch of wear marks in the plastic.
