Default Can I run 235/45 18 Front 295/35 Rear MPSS tires?

So my 996tt is inbound and I need a new set of tires. Its on GT3 wheels with turbo offsets and stock ride height. Normal GT3 sizes are 235/40 and 295/30. Options for that size are PS2, pzero rosso or HTZ 3.

I'd like to run Michelin PSS in the following sizes 235/45 18 (26.3" diameter) front and 295/35 18 (26.1" diameter) rear as they don't come in stock sizes. I dont think I should have any awd/abs/psm issues as it's a -0.8% difference front to back in diameter.

Anyone running these tires and/or sizes? Any issues with running these sizes (26"+ tires) For example trimming needed due to rubbing, with a stock car?

Thank you for the confirmation. glad to be able to run MPSS on the car and as a fringe benefit to be able to run slightly higher sidewalls bc of the horrible roads where I drive.

The sizes are fine for the AWD system. Depending on how the suspension is set up you might have a slight bit of rubbing on the inner front wheel well when turning at full lock.

the front to rear height ratios are solid. Your only challenge will be 26" tire height and overall clearance.

The PSSs are great tires, please post pics and details when you get them installed.

Default Another Option

I just had a set of Yokohama Advan Neovas installed in size 235/40/18 and 295/30/18.

my wheels are 18x8.5 and 18x11.

The 235s are 25.3" tall...820 revs per mile. the 295s are 25.0" tall at 831 revs per mile so totally safe for AWD. I'm also at stock ride height.

These Yoks are definitely a more aggressive compound but I only drive on weekends...mostly canyons and coastal roads.

Quick Reply: Can I run 235/45 18 Front 295/35 Rear MPSS tires?
