i have the same feeling so just bought one to test
may be yes for an adult but no for a child
it is made from "memory spongy" so when you pressed it can be very thin

It's a structural reality - you can't do anything to make that seat any bigger, and the angle of the seatback is set. Tell your kid to quit whining.
My teenage daughters manage to sit in the back of my 044 TT cab and have no issues. We aren't going across the country, so just deal with it, or sit in the front.

Custom seat insert for 911 kids in rear seat
Yes, the cabrio rear seat backs are horribly vertical. That probably maximises the chance of wedging in one more leggy supermodel in an emergency, but doesn't make for comfortable traveliing back there for family use. If your child will be in the car often and you really want a good solution, perhaps just get a custom seat insert made.
Maybe not an effort you want to make yourself if you're not into messy DIY, but any race shop should be able to help you custom mould a cushion to shape the rear seat to your child using expanding polyurethane foam (with or without soft beads). Once formed, leave the car side of it as is for maximum fit and just smooth the front and all edges, before getting it covered in something suitable like cloth or leather. For daily use rather than racing, you'll probably just want to smooth the seat and back out more so they can still move about a bit.
Not sure who sells kits in HK, but this is the kind of thing to use/ have the race shop use:
