So you think Dr Porsche doesn't know how to pronounce his last name??
There may be slight differences in the actual accent of the individual, even within the Porsche family (the keepers of the Holy Grail in terms of who has ownership of the pronounciation of their last name), but Dr Porsche (or any German I've ever heard) did/does not pronounce his last name (Porsche) as one syllable. The post you have questioned (that I made) concerns whether or not Porsche is pronounced with one syllable or two, not the letter specific accent(s).

These guys are your beanchmarks in terms of whether or not you care? Really?
What would you say if they asked you if Porsche was pronounced with one syllable or two?

The answer is easy my friends:
Those who do not own one call it a "Porsh".
Those who do call it a "Porsha".

Well...there you go. All us "Porsha" owners can shut up now.
On another note...is it a "Nine Eleven" or a "Nine One One"?
Please discuss...

Simple answer there also if you speak German.....In the country of origin for the car it is a "neun elf" which translates to nine eleven.
Glad to be of service again

Alternatively, you could start saying it correctly

Thinking of starting a thread to see who washes their Porsches as opposed to who warshes their Porsches.
