WANT TO BUY 996TT

Drifting
You will need a another good car as a daily driver, that's my opinion. Most 996tts I looked at were rough to decent even when described as excellent. Get a reliable car for everyday and take your time looking.

Hey OP, if you don't mind traveling to the northeast, you can check a black on black 02 turbo at Toy Barn in Ohio or a blue over brown 02 at Auto Palace in Pittsburgh that I drove over the weekend.

Yinzer,
I tried to send you a PM---your'e new, WELCOME. I love Rennlist. I cant begin to say how much it has helped me with my 993. Anyway, i'd love your take on the blue one on Pitt? if you have a minute, you can email me at fossilfuel@gmail.com Thanks! -mark

Fingers crossed, I think I may have found an AMAZING car locally. Thanks to some networking and good friends at TPWS independent shop here in Austin (SUCH NICE FOLKS), I was referred to a local car not yet on the market. Seller as obsessive as me :-) We have a deal in principal and I see the car in the morning.
More to follow with hopefully a wonderful happy ending......
Thanks all!

Three Wheelin'
Hang in there Mark, I looked at a bunch of cars before I found THE one (nearly 2 years ago). You are smart for posting here and taking everyone's advice, they didn't steer me wrong and I did a bunch of IMíng with several Rennlisters and Sixspeeders before pulling the trigger on a bone stock 43K mile '02 that was located in SoCal, 400+ miles from home.

WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!!!
Turbo roasted chicken that is! :-)
Good things come to those who wait (and have good friends and networks)….and sometimes, you can look all over and the answer is right in your own back yard!
2003 Gorgeous seal grey, black interior, X50. Clear bra, and looks like a 1 year old car—not 13!!!
SUPER NICE, LOCAL, OBSESSIVE Seller :-)
Does oil analysis at each change.
BEST PART——are you guys sitting down? 23,000 original miles!
Low mile, super clean, local x50 996TT——as close as i will ever get to a Unicorn!
I haven’t taken possession yet, so only a couple seller pics and my crappy one thru my 993 windshield leaving.
THANSK to ALL who chimed in and sent leads and good thoughts.
Thanks to Matt and Frannie and the ‘kids’ at TPWS
Thanks to Rob for working with on my budget and having such a great car!
I AM STOKED!

PS—in the sweltering hot drive up to see the TT, my 993 rolled to 126,993 miles :-)
