I still like the one I drove at Auto Palace, but they never supplied service records like they said. Also, I'm still some time out, but am starting doing my homework early.

Additionally, I feel buying car from private owner is usually the best as you can find out more about its history.
I started looking last winter, and I believe this car was for sale fall/winter 2015-2016 in Chicago. I recognize the big red amp under the rear window. I think in Chicago it sat at 38k for a while. Looks like it went to Florida and now sits there lmao.

This one is local to me:

http://oakesauto.com/used-porsche-91...-city-mo-14886

The car started 2 months ago at 50k. I went out there to talk to the guys and was willing to pay a fair market price for it. They wouldn't negotiate (to make it easy for the buyer). Needless to say, I didn't even look at it and just walked away. It has been dropping 500-1000 bucks every week, so this may be one to keep an eye on. Although, due to the arrogant sales people at this place, I would also love to see this car in their inventory till December.

In the end they did me a favor, as I ended up finding a better optioned lower mileage x50 for way less than this car is even now.

All good observation, again. I try to stay away from stealer ships. Arrogant and over priced

as mentioned, have found 996tts 2001 to 2002 from $30K up to one with 12.5K miles, yup, locally, for $60k. Max miles I've considered is 56K miles. I've seen the higEr priced cars coming down in price, the lower end moving up slightly. I feel that even in this price range, they are super cars at a bargain price, relatively. And not flashy like other brands. My impatience is my enemy...c

Yep, there are plenty of deals out there when you start exploring out of the rennlist world.

I bought mine from a lady that needed room in her garage because she got the new 991 turbo. The rest of her garage was occupied with a Lamborghini Gallardo, Aston Martin DB9 bond edition, Audi R8, and a Z06. All she wanted was a clean fast transaction, and was not interested in getting top dollar for the car. The X50 option was luck, she did not know it was one I believe. Which btw, I have seen 2 X50 that were not advertised as such in my search (ask for pictures of under the hood option stickers).

Napoleon1981-Bingo...the hunt is as much fun for me as the catch. Unfortunately, I catch them and don't release them. And collector sounds so much better tHan hoarder. I consider my self as an art collector, of sort...

You must be in KC! I saw that car start up at a CnC and smoked like crazy for a few seconds. I was thinking it might need turbos.
