Many have some sort of baptism story sooner than later, I certainly did.
Do whatever you can while its on stands, might as well change the gearbox and front diff oil and bleed the brakes while it's up too.

Got the front diff rebuilt when I first bought the car due to bad bearings, gearbox oil was changed at the time as well. Brake fluid was done 5k miles ago, might be on the list for next oil change since it was done by the PO so I'm not 100% confident.

Got everything put back together this weekend and the car runs like a champ now. No more fuel pump whine, a lot smoother acceleration, very smooth below 4k RPM now (used to stutter a bit). Night and day!
