Thank you for the information. I realize most if not all do these for the aesthetics, but nice to know there's an alternative to replacing hydraulics.

My GT2 wing is mounted on the stock rams and extends and retracts just like stock. I will be doing Dave's e-ram kit in the not too distant future to get a little more extension on it, but for now it works fine with the stock hydraulic system.

^ Technically speaking, you are correct. It's what Misha calls a "GT2 Add On" wing.

Is there any other kind of "speaking"? As I said before the GT2 deck/wing does NOT move...knockoffs might...LOL

BauerR, I think I had asked you a while back but...where did you get your Strosek? Also, what was the fit & finish like out of the box? Looks great on your car.

OK, you are completely, 100% right. I stand corrected.

Car looks GREAT in this..pic! Lovin the overall look with the wheels too.

KC, did you buy/install this wing yourself or did your car come with it?

Thanks gophaster - much appreciated! My car had it when I bought it.

I think the stock wing looks good, but I like the additional bling that many of the aftermarket wings give you. I think there are a lot of really nice options and appreciate those who add unique touches to their cars.

KC, I'm tempted to grab one. What I like about the wing you have and the one BauerR has is that they retain the stock deck lid and the automatic rise. Also, if I ever wanted to go back to stock it's really simple. Been looking at wings for a while, there seems to be quite a variance on the out of the box fit/finish from the various manufacturers. Reason I was asking was if you had installed it who made it and how was fit/finish prior to prep/paint. Anyway, yours does look like a gt2 wing and really does look great on the car.

For me, there are 4 wings which I find fits the 996 Turbo well:

-Stock
-Aero
-GT2 gen1

and if you want to go a little of the top/agressive, then the Techart wing:
