I like negotiating before PPI and then agreeing to what will be fixed if the PPI reveals.
That way, you either get the car in great shape or the discount off your price. Worked out great on my 81 SC when an oil drip wound up being $2,500 worth of labor that they seller paid for.

I bought one, about two months ago, also midnight blue and with 50k miles. It is an X50 so a bit more expensive. I paid $46.5k.
I would say $40-42k is a good range.
I agree with some of the comments of agreeing on a price and then negotiating down based on PPI results.

I take a buyer who's looking to talk price before a PPI or seeing the car in person as a tire kicker. until a prospective buyer has done at least one of the two it's really just annoying negotiating a $1000 this way or that.. i see the PPI and estimates on work needed as the buyers best tools in a negotiation based on the asking price and knowledge of the model values..
