Don't forget divorces. Wife gets car and re registers then sells...food for thought when you're thinking about the era these came out in (post dot-com bubble) and the types of some of those original owners at that time.

My car showed 5 owners when I bought it, but I talked to the original selling dealership and it was owned by the same guy up until me. I have every single service record from pre-delivery until now, and they are all under the same guy's name at the dealer where it was sold new. I was told he had different registrations based on his businesses, which looked like multiple owners but was indeed the same guy all along.

If the car checks out and the records support the condition, who cares how many people have driven it before you anyway? A lot of these high end cars get traded within a few thousand miles when the owner gets bored and moves on to the next toy.
