Default Hellcat Challenger did a ricer fly by on me... lol

Was pretty excited to get a chance to run a hellcat today on the way home... clear 'track' ahead... offered him the hit and he just sat there. Got bored so I punched it for a second... then let up and he did a ricer fly by. Made the next light evened up in front and when it turned he didn't go... so I slow down and he does another fly by. WTF man... caught one more light and he didn't go again so I turned off and went home. I figured I'd crush him off the line but I was curious about a 40 roll. I even tried a 3 horn start and he didn't go.

*This was on a closed track with fake traffic lights.

I'm kinda new here so can you please define a "ricer fly-by"?

does it include a motor rev? do they need a pokiman stuffed animal hanging from the track ready, anodized tow hook mounted at the back of the car? does it require a "titillest" golf sticker hacked to simply say "illest"? can a ricer be an American muscle car? I'm so confused.

So you street race? What do you get out of it? Better yet, do you have any idea what you could actually get out of it (read jail)?

So maybe when you punched it so did he, but you were so much faster that when you let up, it looked like he did a fly by

Get off your high horse. If you don't like the subject, don't post in the thread.

It's no high horse. Why don't you study up on vehicular manslaughter laws, and since the original poster is in Florida, reference Florida statute 782.071, where Vehicular Manslaughter (Vehicular Homicide) is a second degree felony punishable by a 15 year prison sentence and a permanent license revocation. Vehicular Homicide is where you cause the death of another while driving recklessly. A lesser charge in Florida, where no bodily harm occurs, is “Racing on Highways” and is a charge against a driver that engages in competitively driving a vehicle in a speed or acceleration contest, or engages in drag racing, or participates as a passenger or race facilitator. The offense carries penalties of up to 1 year in jail and a driver’s license revocation.

Horse or no horse...it's the internet...and an open forum of which he's a member.

He can post wherever he wants.

It's also a very serious and polarized subject for many. Street "racing" ruins futures/families every year...and it's illegal. Some people take issue with that.

Not that hard to understand.

Agree people can comment as they like. Street racing is something I stopped in my teens, there are plenty of tracks/strips for such activity.

That IS the point of a forum thread

Street "racing" is reckless and endangers others. I haved witnessed a friend get run off the freeway by two such racers. I was following a friend as we go up a two lane on ramp. Just as we enter these idiots race by and one clips her rear bumper sending her into a spin upon which she ran off the freeway onto an exit ramp and into the landscaping. If a car had been exiting she would have been t boned. And yes they were ricers...
