I enjoyed my 996tt for what I used it for- basically just liked having it around and would like another at some point. The e46 is a great car and would be another occasional use car= I'm retired and really don't drive every day.

Why? I think a 328 would be a very nice car to have...

Agree and that is what I lean towards but am a little concerned that it will be a pain to maintain? Not doing anything before winter unless something I cant live without comes up.

Back to the OP. It's Wimbledon-over-Nephrite, right?

The color is Ocean Jade metallic, which I see was used on some older Porsches. I agree it looks like Wimbledon and it would be interesting to see the two colors side by side. They don't name the interior - the vin decoder just says special leather and the dealer says special green leather, so don't know if it's nephrite or not but that is logical.

How fun! The price differential is a bit steep for me-- I'd have to stick with the '04..... The ocean jade and Wimbledon are very very similar.

I know that 2004 996T well. PTS was for wife of Porsche dealer in FL. They sold the dealership a while back to owner of Suncoast Porsche. She continued driving the Turbo until health issues forced her to hang up the keys for good. Always admired her for driving a Turbo well into her 70s. It was parked in their garage for several years and saw the car just last month before it was listed for sale. Should have bought it on the spot. My wife really likes the color combo.

I wonder if the owner of that '09 cab was a fan of the Millenium Edition?

Wow, I certainly am. What is this millennium edition please?
And Dragon997 thanks for the history on the 2004- I love that she was able to enjoy it for so many years.
