Kcattorney that is the wrong lip, that one you posted is for a non-turbo.

The correct link is here.

I just received my c4s lip from Warehouse...I thought I was ordering a turbo lip. Don't want it.
Paid $205 shipped yours for $150. Pick up at Alices on Skyline on Sunday. I'll be there at 9:15.

I tried the aero lip twice because I liked the look and wanted a little more front downforce on track, but both times I fitted one it got run over by me within a week. Not on driveways and speed humps as I angle and use the gas and brakes to lift the nose for those, but at speed taking road bumps and dips. The second one broke in two doing a quick U-turn and the first I never recovered but since it got run over by a following Targa Rally field it's probably in many more pieces. I am at ROW height here in NZ though. Another guy running a C4 lip on his Turbo had no problems over the same roads and is still fast on track with it.

Gentlemen -

I placed an order for a C4S lip from Warehouse 13 and received a reply indicating that the C4S lip would NOT fit on the 996tt. It's my understanding that there are quite a few folks out there running the C4S lip on the tt. I certainly appreciate the fact that WH13 took the time to advise me that I requested the C4S lip and not the tt lip, and that they had an experience with a customer who ordered a C4S lip for their tt and said it didn't fit.

Can anybody chime in here and provide some yes/no information for sure regarding fitment of the C4S lip? Does it work 'out of the box', or does it have to be forced/modded to work on the 996tt?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Ebay Aero lip. Its cheap, fits well, and in my mind is a "wear item"

im glad i replaced my factory aero lip with the ebay one. if you daily drive or drive around urban areas, you'll be glad you saved your factory lip..

Any updates to this thread about fitting a C4S or TT lip? I have a 40th Anniversary, and am unsure which to order (or if they are the same). Warehouse33 lip referred to in this thread is listed at $422 plus shipping. ECS shows under $200 plus shipping. Does anyone have a link to a proven ebay lip that will fit?

Just installed my Toth 2-piece Splitter yesterday - I was afraid it would bottom out at the end of the driveway, but that was not an issue. He did design it for easy removal of the horizontal piece for trailering and potential scraping. I'm glad to have his product available now!

I love that joe tooth splitter! Want to get one for sure. In the meantime I take the ebay aero piece and add my own 1/4" abs splitter. It actually made the ebay piece much more durable because it doesn't catch and fold under. If it hits it just flexes up and floats on top. Name: photo385.jpg

The ECS one is the c4s lip and the one I posted is the 996tt, that's the reason for the price difference.

It was just cut from flat 1/4" black ABS sheet stock then riveted to the flat bottom of the aero piece. I make similar splitters and undertrays for the race car.
