Mine ended up being the rear trim piece that sits between the rear shelf & rear window.

Under a building low RPM load it was rattling against the metal bracket it attaches to.

Was convinced the noise was coming from exhaust / outside of car.

The heat shields bolted directly to the turbos are the ones that usually cause the problem. Exam them closely.

It was the splash-shield where it was touching the air line - highlighted by the arrow in the previous photo.

I moved it out a bit. No more rattle.
Un-f-ing-believable.

Now go drive it and listen for the next rattle...only a matter of time.

It'll be fine. The car's been babied.

The problem with this rattle was that it was loud.
PO put an FVD exhaust on the thing that isn't exactly quiet, and this was way louder.

Fixed now though.

I am sure that I speak for others when I say glad to hear that it was a simple zero cost fix...

Rattle on acceleration (esp. in the meat of the torque band) always raises an eyebrow of concern.

Congrats again on the car, I'm sure she's runs great with that UMW tune.
