Sunroof headliner fail
Anybody had to reglue the headliner back on the sunroof? I opened mine today to let the 100+ deg air out and the headliner rolled up and when i closed the thing the alacantra was hanging. Is this something that isnt real hard to do or should i take it to a shop to get it done.?

I used spray adhesive. Worked fine just now I can't re attach the panel to the sunroof. It's been sitting in my garage on a shelf for 8+ months. Actually don't mind seeing the sunroof without it.

Vent the sunroof up, push the panel towards the front windshield (trial and error a few movements) and it will pop off then slide it out the vented back. Tape a towel or cloth down on the roof so you don't scratch the roof.
I'll try to find the instructions in the manual and throw em up here.

The are almost 800 at the dealer for a new sunroof panel. I had to buy a complete headliner for mine as I tore it putting in my roll cage. Bonus it came with a sunroof insert. I don't need it so????

It just clips in from the corners. I can post a picture of the backside when I get home. Did my other 996 before. Was not that tough. Headliner is pretty easy too just time consuming.

OK. So there are two clips center of panel and two on the top. They slide into a catch strip on the left and right side of your sunroof. Shoot me a pm with your email and I can send you some photos. Should slide right on.
