boost hoses
At track last weekend intercooler boost hose blew 3 times passenger side, causing less power and abs and psm lights to come on, limp back to pits pushed back on till clicks and all is well again. Back on track 5 laps happens again. Anyone know the remedy, after market replacement, glue it in place ? need help ,thanks.

it's highly common for the "c clips" at the ic hoses to lose their integrity and cause them ( although the appear tightly clipped ) to NOT clip fully ( or clip loosely more accurately ) causing them to pop off.
i would get all four(?) new ones and r&r you should be fine. i went thru this. be prepared for sticker shock given they are nothing but c clips!

In the interim you can zip tie or safety wire the c clip in place, it's not the solution but it's one that can work and get you through a TD or a drive home.

Most of the aftermarket hoses are crap. Been there done that. The OEM hoses as very good. They were however designed a few years ago with better retaining tabs on them. You may have the old style hoses. The C clips have also been redesigned and the new style are rectangular instead of round. The 997.2 intercoolers come with the new style clips and my bet is you have the old 996 types. I've had the OEM hoses on my car for 4+ years of hard track use at +1.2bar of boost without a single failure.

Carry a zip tie assortment to the track, could have helped with this issue.
I saw mine looking loose and put a pair of ties around each location last year.
When I put them back on this weekend, they seemed to clip in fine, I didn't know there is a new style, good to learn.
I also put on new green O rings, cheap way to ensure good sealing.

I would highly recommend replacing the stock F hose with a quality multi ply silicone F hose like a Samco. The OEM F hose is rubber and does not have the composite mesh reinforcement like the rest of the main OEM boost hoses do. The OEM F hose has a tendency to split along the seam. I've had this happen twice. I run the Samco F hose.

The new rings I got from Sonnen were the double ribbed ones.
Boy this comment could go downhill quick...
I'll have to look closer at the GT2 coolers I have in the box, guess I get new clips.
I also have a spare set of stock boost hoses in great shape if anyone is interested. They cam with some spare K16's and headers I bought a while back.

i must have all new c clips. but never knew they were "new" i just know that since replacing them I've never had another one pop. i didn't even bother to look at the old ones since the were trashed.

I agree with the aftermarket boost hoses being crap.
Went down that route and after multiple hose pop offs with my 997.2 RS intercoolers I went back to the new style OEM hose and have not looked back.

The new style hoses all come with the green double ribbed O ring. If you have hoses that have the round O ring then you have the old style hoses and I would replace them. All 4 new hoses are cheap at around $350 if I recall.
