so, you bought the Medina x50. hope you got it for less than they were asking.
polar silver will be a great color for that car and appealing down the road to buyers. much better looking than arctic.
i missed on an arctic/black, 19k mile, one owner x50 for $53k two weeks ago. car was for sale 1 mile from my office!! i was a day late.
good luck with the car.

A while back I was looking at some videos of 996tts filmed around the time of the car's release, and noticed that the press cars were mostly colors (lots of reds (orient maybe? not guards) and blues), and I think these cars look awesome in a vibrant color. Interesting that in the end consumers gravitated towards greys, silvers, and blacks that were so popular amongst teutonic cars in the 2000s and on.
Thanks man. I agree, I love the dynamic colors. I definitely wasn't looking for this color; I was hoping for a blue car, but I was intrigued by the color and the lady loved the color when we viewed the car.

It is certainly unique when attention is paid to it. I agree that rose is the more appropriate word, but "pink" is what the coworkers/friends call it all in good fun lol. In certain light, the rose tint even looks to be a nice purple/blue.

Attached a couple more pics.. In the Porsche line up, on the right side, you can see a big difference between the shades of silver/grey.. The Boxster is Seal Grey, the next Turbo is Arctic Silver, then my Meridian... A couple of cars further down, GT Silver Metallic.

The second picture with the GT3s, it looks virtually identical to the GT Silver Metallic of the 996 GT3. Very versatile

The biggest decision I have to make with my current setup is to go all black with the wheels or to get the centers redone in silver. So feel free to post more!
