I search YouTube very often to see 996 Turbos play in the snow but there are none basically

I wish I had the heart to drive my car during winter!

My first Porsche what an amazing piece of machinery. Time to ditch the X5 4.8iS and get into a 13' 958 GTS next year. I got bit!

Not a great picture but I just joined the 996 club. It was delivered today and since it's only 15F outside I only took it for a short drive but it's awesome. Terrific condition with 62k miles, Ruf wheels, and AWE 700R kit. I took a risk snagging off it Ebay a couple weeks ago but I think it paid off big time.

[QUOTE=MrM;13540271]

Greetings there. Nice looking turbo! I was curious what suspension/ spacers you are using. I like the stance and offset and I have a similar finish on the turbo twists on my 4S. Any input is appreciated- thanks!

Speaking of spoiler, itsnt it possible to keep it down all the time even when passing the speed in which activates it? I know that it works and helps aerodynamic but that wouldn't be an issue during normal driving as most won't go so fast.

Im happy I have the aero kit so I don't have to deal with that thing but it looks so good with the wing down, beautiful lines of the coupe and from some angles, actually prettier than the aero kit.

i dont know of any workaround to keep spoiler down, if the hydraulics are operable? maybe the fuse pull or twist the wires etc.

spoiler up?.. sure, many do. but agree, the aerokit is the best oem workaround of all and i would think, is more than enough d'force for any daily stuff.

Yes aero kit supposedly generates more downforce than the regular body, kind of obvious by the name I guess. But I've also read that the trunk lid and rear lid are lighter on the aero kit cars, not sure if true though.

i have my doubts about that, but that aerokit is a definite plus and a tasteful and functional option, no doubt.

Are the only changes with the aerokit over a stock 996 Turbo the rear deck lid, rear wing, and front spoiler?
